New Integrated Roughness-Contour Measuring Machine

Recently, our company has commissioned a new integrated roughness‑contour measuring machine. It is specially applied for integrated precision inspection of dimension and surface roughness after shock‑absorber piston grooving, upgrading full‑process quality control for our powder‑metallurgy pistons.

Equipped with high‑precision imported sensors, the machine achieves 0.02 μm Z‑axis resolution. It automatically measures contour dimension, surface roughness and waviness. It supports auto‑programmed inspection and CAD drawing comparison, exports standardized multi‑format test reports and provides lifetime free software updates. Complying with GB and ISO standards, it measures inner holes as small as 6 mm, ideal for inspecting grooves, oil holes and end faces of shock‑absorber pistons.

Benefiting from 4‑axis joystick control, probe protection and large‑angle climbing measurement, it minimizes manual errors. The Grade‑00 granite workbench and high‑rigidity guide rails guarantee stable long‑term measurement with repeat error within 3%. Tiny defects such as dimensional deviation, burrs and unsatisfactory roughness after piston grooving can be accurately identified to reduce product defect rate.

With this new equipment, we establish a closed‑loop quality‑control chain covering powder forming, precision machining, grooving and integrated full inspection. Combined with our IATF16949 three‑level QC system, full traceability of piston‑groove test data is realized. It strengthens our micron‑level manufacturing capacity, improves piston consistency, delivers high‑standard OEM components for global auto manufacturers and enhances our international competitiveness.
